Dr. Russell Fulmer, Online Faculty

Dr. Russell Fulmer earned an MS in community counseling from Fort Hays State University and later a PhD in counselor education from Kansas State University. He is a licensed professional counselor with experience in career counseling and working with college students. Dr. Fulmer has experience directing a clinical counseling program, overseeing student internship experience, and teaching several counseling courses. Dr. Fulmer spent four years internationally working in medical education, where he taught behavioral science and ethics courses, along with serving as a student and community counselor in a multicultural environment. His background includes teaching, administrative, and clinical roles inside and outside of academia. Dr. Fulmer’s areas of interest include ethics, positive psychology, and psychodynamic theory.
